    God is good!

Congrats, Valor, you have some incredible parents!

  9. I read through your entire Sweet Baby James blog in a few days a couple weeks ago–came across it from Cake Wrecks.

Rejoicing with you in this healthy birth–I’m a mother of 6 (on earth that is) including twin preemies, a breach that needed resuscitating and a hospital stay plus two angel babies. So my heart ached along with you and I seriously admire(d) your devotion to His perfect plan.

    Keep up the good work!

  10. John and Abby, he’s so handsome! And so cutely chubby:) Blessings to you all! Praising God for your dear sweet little one:)

It is not a slight thing when those so fresh from God love us.
    — Dickens
There is no moment when his eye is off me, or his attention is distracted from me, no moment, therefore, when his care falters. I never go unnoticed. Every moment of life is spent in the sight and company of an omniscient, omnipresent Creator. ~ J. I. Packer

  17. Congratulations! I found you through cake wrecks and have read everything on your blogs. I can’t wait to see more pictures of those chubby cheeks of his!!

  18. Hooray! Welcome, baby Valor! I am thrilled beyond words for you. That first picture is the most precious thing ever. Congratulations!!!!!!

  19. No profound comments – only tears of joy! I am an online friend of your close friend Susan’s (we both had losses around the same time, and then little girls at the same time – her baby L), so I’ve followed your story and Suzy’s prayer requests for Dora and James and both of you, for a long time. Your courage and faith are truly inspirational. Praise God for Valor! May your life with him be richly blessed and full of joy. Through Suzy and your blogs, I feel like I’ve known you a long time, and after a long season of grief, I am so happy to now be rejoicing with you! Congratulations!!!

  20. Congrats to you two. I’ve been thinking about you all day long. It’s truly amazing that we met again this morning. I loved my white chocolate knight in shining armor and I WILL complete that puzzle (even though I already know the name). It was truly an amazing experience to be a part of Valor’s birth. Congratulations and God bless. Christine, CRNA

  21. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes- looking at your beautiful baby. God bless you! Thank you for sharing all of your story with us via the blog- you are a blessing.

  22. I am so, so very happy for you guys! Congratulations!! God is so good to bless you so richly today. I praise him for little Valor. Praise God from whom all good gifts come.

  23. Sweet,Sweet Blessing! Continuing to pray for all of you.
” The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take delight in you. He will quiet you with his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
In this case I think the voice that God is using must be the cry of his precious newborn baby, Valor. May Valor be richly blessed! and his parents also!

  24. Words seem to fail at a time such as this…….Congratulations doesn’t seem like enough to offer to you. I imagine all the angels in Heaven are rejoicing with us here on Earth over the birth of this most precious, desired gift……….Yes, JOY comes in the morning!!!! Welcome Valor. Your little hands say it all. They seem relaxed and open to receive all the love that has awaited you for so long.
