Well Winter Storm Leon (yes, they have names) blew through yesterday. Earlier in the week, they were forecasting maybe 9-12 inches of snow, but I think we mostly got ice and sleet. Maybe 2-4 inches? Hard to know without opening the door, which we haven’t done, yet.
The main news to report is that Abby is feeling fine post-surgery, and although she was under anesthesia and didn’t speak with her doctor afterwards, I had a short cell phone call from her doctor (on a very poor connection) who conveyed that everything had gone very well. When the doctor’s office reopens (maybe tomorrow because of the snow?) we’ll know something more descriptive.
But for now, “very well” works for us.
Time to venture outside:
