A lady baby!!! That’s awesome! Congrats on making it to another milestone.

  2. It’s humbling to read about your experience and godly attitude. So many, even professing believers, abort children while you strive to have more. Your faith is a great encouragement to me.

Hi there, Gjertsens! Delurking from over here in Oregon to say hello again. I think I stumbled into you guys back when CakeWrecks posted about James’ death. I come back every once in awhile to see how things are. Yesterday I checked in and I have found myself re-reading the entire Sweet Baby James story from his birth onward. Looking at the photos again for the first time in awhile, I was struck today that it’s been almost nine years since James’ birth, and how much younger you both look in all the adorable NICU photos! You are both just inspiring, and I enjoy reading about your discoveries as James’ complicated medical status was unraveled and you learned how to care for him. Anyway. Congrats on the new baby in the works! Another girl!! Woohoo! I await your coming blog posts and the news of her birth. <3
