first noel

Last year, it was a very hard Christmas without James. We didn’t even put up all our decorations. This year we relished the season!

I think I’ll let the photos say the rest.

Oh my goodness. Valor is looking more and more like James, but he’s also distinctly VALOR! What a cutie!

Happy New Year to the Gjertsen Family!

Christmas is SO great with young kids! Wait until next year when he’s helping you open the presents (and is more interested in the box and wrapping paper)!

Congratulations once again to both of you. You deserve so much joy.

What joy to celebrate the birth of our Lord with the precious gift of adorable Valor! Blessings.

Valor truly pulls off hats magnificently. I knew I liked that boy.
So far, the viking hat he wore on Sunday is my favorite. Only Valor could endear himself to others while wearing a fearsome viking hat! :)

I can see how much he looks like his big brother… but also as my grandmother would say “he looks like himself”. These pictures make my insides explode with his cuteness and who knew that someone could enjoy exploding insides! I am so glad that you had a wonderful, blessed Christmas.

Looks like you guys had a great Christmas! Valor just keeps getting cuter and cuter, and that smile of his – words fail me. :)
    Happy New Year! :D

    Precious!
(Not just Valor either, it’s kind of fun to see the love oozing from the eyes of everyone around him.)

These pictures make me so happy! and I second what Jenny said. The pics literally radiate love. Hope y’all are staying warm over there!

PS- Considering that Valor pulls off hats so well, I thought I’d recommend this site for y’all. I have a fox hat, and my boss bought a tiger cub hat for her 3 yr old. I think Valor would look adorable in any of these :)
