I love you birthday parties! Age appropriate, fun and not over the top. I’m 53 and have never had a birthday party since my birthday is so close to Christmas. Wish you could do one for me! (You might want to rethink posting your address on the party invitation. Lots of goobers out there.) Happy birthday, Percy!

You Gjertsens throw the best birthday parties! It is always super fun and exciting! Great job on the cake too! Everything was perfect! I know Valor had an awesome time. Thanks for letting us share it with him. Love you!

  3. Hey, guys! I was just asking Chris yesterday about how old Valor was! Super fun party! Thanks for the answer in your post. I find it interesting (and insightful?) that all the princesses are blonde.
Hoping Erika won’t be too bad next week for you.

Can you email me the odd-chooser template? Your link seems to be broken for me.

    Thanks

Thanks for posting this. I’m planning an Odd-Squad Themed party for my daughter next month, who will also be turning 6, so this is perfect!

  7. Thanks for the wonderful ideas! My soon to be 5yo is requesting an Odd Squad party, but to be honest I’ve only sat through one episode. This has given me a great starting point!

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing did you make all the decor and invitation yourself? Would you be willing to share the files or do you sell them somewhere?

Thanks for all the ideas. My soon to be 6 year old just told me she wants an odd squad party. I tried to download your link for the odd chooser but can’t seem to get it. Is there anyway you can send directly to me? TIA

THANK YOU!!! My son is turning 6 in September and already knows that he wants an Odd Squad party, and I had no idea where to start. I love absolutely every idea here.

Thanks again for this! I just wanted to leave another comment because my hubby and I are getting ready for our son’s Odd Squad party on Saturday, and we came up with a less intensive version of the robot princesses for non-crafty people; Bowling for Robot Princesses. We took the pins from our son’s bowling set and wrapped silver duct tape around the top parts, then Sharpied on eyes and mouths. We cut small neckholes in the centers of those fabric squares you can get from Wal-Mart for a dollar and put them over the bowling pins to be dresses, then made some yarn wigs and stuck them on. They don’t look as cool as yours, but they get the job done for those of us who are craftily challenged. 🙂 Can’t wait to see what happens when our son goes bowling for them on Saturday!

(We also got a giant 6 pinata and are going to tell him that Odd Todd is a number hog stealing the sixes so he’ll stay five–destroying the pinata will release the sixes. I had a pinata at his party last year and now he’s going to expect them until college 😉

I have a soon to be 6 year old who LOVES Odd Squad. Any chance you could share the link to your “chooser” (I clicked on it above but nothing appeared), I’d love to make those up for our guests. Your ideas are great! We are definitely inspired by your blog post.
